In this series I try to capture the lightness of everyday life and the fragility of fleeting moments. The diary-like flashes of memories are on the one hand infinitely personal and intimate, but at the same time, due to the general nature of the subject, they open a way for the viewer to relate to them intimately.
The collection seeks to express the diversity of emotions and the transience of the present through the play of colours, textures and shapes, as well as their fluidity, in addition to figurative representation. Inspired by the joy and freedom of life, this series of paintings seeks to blend a sense of longing, excitement and blissful ignorance with a bittersweet taste of nostalgia. The people and scenes in the paintings are often seemingly ordinary and featureless, yet they are vivid conveyors of the complex emotions and experiences that live in my memories.
Happenings invites the viewer into a world where dreams and memories merge, transcending the boundaries of time and space to create dreamlike yet familiar scenes.
