Special prize for the VI. Óbuda Fine Art Exhibition - "Genius Loci - The Spirit of the Place" exhibition

Among the many quality creations, Edit Hermkens has received a special award for her work “Ageless Rome River Bank”.

With her special, exciting way of performing, the artist presented a small slice of Óbuda, which has been visited by people who have been wishing to relax for decades.

The unique character of the Roman river bank is a value to be protected, and the planning of its vision has been completed in this spirit. As a next step, the Municipality of Budapest announced flood protection on the Roman bank.

The sixth Óbuda Fine Arts Exhibition can be visited in the “Esernyős Galéria” from May 28 to June 25, 2021, from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10:00 to 18:00.
